The driver on the bus
says move on back, move on back, move on back
~ thumb over your shoulder like the driver

The money on the bus goes clink clink clink
~ drop pretend coins into a slot

The people on the bus go up and down
~ move up and down for a bumpy ride

The babies on the bus go wah wah wah

~ rub your eyes like a bawling baby

The toddlers on the bus go no, no no!
~Shake your finger, no no no

The moms on the bus say Shhh shhh shhh
~ Finger to your lips to say shhh

The dads on the bus read read read
~ ASL sign for read, left hand palm up, right fingers follow 'lines of text' on palm

The rain on the bus goes plink plink plink
~ fingers mimic falling raindrops

The wipers on the bus go swish swish swish
~ Hands up, swish forearms back and forth from the elbow

The bus on the bus goes bus bus bus
~ Bump up and down like you are the riders

The people on the bus are t i r e d
~ slow way way down)

and it can go on and on and on...

~ child falls down into 'hole' in your lap


I'm A Little Hunk of Tin

I'm a little hunk of tin
Nobody know where I've been
I've got 4 tires
And a steering wheel

Honk honk
~ touch nose 2 times
Rattle rattle
~ shake your booty
Stop stop!
~hand out in front, signing 'stop'
Beep beep
~ pull your ear

(think of other vehicles to do this with - same 'chorus' - I'm a big red beast- firetruck / yellow, construction -???)


Open the truck door

Climb inside
I get to help
My mommy drive

Fasten the seat belt
Shut the door
Start the engine
Hear it roar

Turn the corner
Step on the gas
If the road's clear
We may pass


I'm a Little Pickup Truck

I'm a little pickup truck
Shiny and yellow,
When I go out driving
~pretend to drive

I'm a very happy fellow.
When the rain comes down
~ flutter fingers down

I turn my wipers on~move arms back and forth

It's fun to splash through puddles,
All around the town.

When I see a red light.
I stop on a dime
~ stop 'driving'

When I see a green light
I know it's driving time
~okay go!
Beep! Beep!
